What is truly amazing about this Free malware detection program is that it is totally Portable. How wonderful Is that? So just add the relatively small app to all your thumb drives. Then if you are using a computer somewhere that you suspect may have become infected, just insert the thumb or flash drive into a USB port and run the program. And soon you will know if you are infected or not. There is one downside to this program I have discovered. If you go over about a week between updates. the program insists on downloading what seems to be the whole program itself plus all the new malware definitions. Of course, the answer to this annoyance is to be sure to update no less than once every 4 or 5 days. This program does find malware that others seem to miss, although I have had a false positive a time or two.
