Fun App 16 For Windows XP, Vista , 7, Mac, and Linux - Google Chrome and Chromium

I have been asked how I dare feature wonderful Extensions for Google Chrome without tauting Google Chrome itself. Well, I hate to admit it but clearly they have a point. I thought, by now,  the whole world was familiar with Google Chrome. Now, I have been informed that thousands maybe millions of people have only peripherally heard of  Google Chrome and simpy say  "Why Bother?"  That is an excellent question, of course. First, a little personal history is in order. I gravitated away from Internet Explorer about 4 years ago for Firefox. At the time, I loved the speed of exectution in comparison to Intenet Explorer. Furthermore, they were quick to establish an aftermarket for a wide variety of Plug-Ins or Add-Ons (as Firefox likes to call them).  These Add-Ons greatly extended functionality. Unfortunately,  this increased the load time slowing down the browser. Thus, a trade-off developed. which Add-Ons did one deem essential , which could you live without. Over time, Firefox seemed to have become bloated similar to Internet Explorer. Luckily, Google Chrome has arrived. Sporting the speed originally obtained by early Firefox releases and an extremely simple user-friendly interface. Furthermore, the upgrades are incremental. About every 10 days, there is a subtle update. Chrome has also entered the aftermarket arena. However, they call their Add-Ons Extensions. Nonetheless, they can defintely add to memory usage and a slow start-up, so, as is the case with Firefox, be hudicious with the use of Extensions. Don't go crazy with them. All said and done, Google Chrome currently is my favorite browser. If you haven't already, you owe it to yourself to give a test drive. If you do, and find you need basic help, just leave a note in the comments area. BTW, Chromium is the open source flavor of Google Chrome presently favored primarily by the Ubuntu (Linux) community.

FYI, Here is a good brief description of the differences between Google Chrome and Chromium:
